Excerpts from the book

Never invest your emotions in others, and never expect happiness from others, as these expectations will do you more harm than good. If someone makes you happy and loves you wholeheartedly without any expectations, then be grateful for having that person. However, never go chasing happiness, as our perspective on it changes with time and can leave a lot of angst in the mind. Fight for your rights and honour, and never justify cruelty, injustice, exploitation, and torture as part and parcel of the process or journey towards a goal. Surrendering to wrongdoings will make you feel guilty, and you will lose confidence and mental peace.
